A rhythmic game based on computer viruses! Created unique malware enemies such as the worm, trojan horse, and ransomware.
For each enemy I used a different style of animation. For the first enemy, the worm, I used pixel sprite sheets that I made in Photoshop. For the worm I wanted to show the beat going through and out of its body.
The second enemy I used Maya to model, rig, and animate a trojan horse and a spider. I used a wireframe shader in Unity for their textures. In the middle of the song game play the trojan horse explodes into the spider.
For the third level enemy I used a combination of the previous approaches. I modeled, textured, animated, and rendered the ransomware enemy in Maya and Substance Painter. I made sprite sheets in Photoshop to add 2D effects on top of the 3D animations.
